My Pekingese, as most do, gets hot easily in the Texas summer. I got Cookie in October, and got used to her sleeping with me. When the season changed, I noticed that she started moving around a lot, then would jump down for the rest of the night. I realized that she was sleeping in the tile-on-concrete kitchen, to keep her underside cool. The Cool Bed III made all the difference. She has the medium size, so it's not hard to move from bed to ottoman for the day, and it encourages her to stay off the couch, since the ottoman is cooler. I use colored T-shirts for covers, which lets me change its look and keep the hair under control. Happy dog, happy me!
