i have a 13 year old cocker. the snuggly is out in the laundry room where he stays when i'm at work. on cold days he would now rather be out in the laundry room, then in his bed in my bedroom. a heated dog bed is a good idea, but i don't think i would consider it a viable option for a dog that digs before he lays down. i got mine on sale, otherwise i would consider it expensive.
