We purchased our first pad as part of a Cat House we bought at Blythe Woodworks (they prep the cat house to fit the pad so that the cord comes out the back of the house). With winter fast approaching Massachusetts we are preparing shelters for a few homeless cats. Janice was the first to try one out and she LOVES it--day and night-- as we have had many nights into the 20's. The pad is extremely well made, durable and safe. After I finish the review I am ordering at least 2 more from Amazon (great price!!) You can get fleece blankets and cut them up to cover the pad if you don't want to purchase exact fit covers.
