   I first bought this bed 8 years ago when I purchased a Sphynx (hairless) cat. They get colder than most cats. My cat Yum, LOVED that bed and would only sleep in it, or in my bed. Yum died, I now have another Sphynx and she loves it too. The first bed lasted about 5 years and was plugged in 24/7! We are on our 2nd bed now and it is going strong. Highly recommended.    I purchased this bed to place on my cat's tower so she could snuggle in warmly while she watches the birds through the window. She LOVES it! It's now hard to get her out of the bed! I leave it plugged in constantly, day and night, throughout all the winter months. I have had this bed now through two winters and it is still functioning great! Zoe gives it two paws up!!    Ever since I got my cat, she slept in my bed, but now that I got her the thermokitty bed she sleeps in her bed. I miss her sleeping with me, but I am so happy she finally has something she really loves!!!! She became a very sweet cat after I got her the bed. (Posted on 2/11/10)
