great for older incontinent dogs - indoors or out. Review by dogwalker
Value Quality Price Price Value Quality My 16 year old GSP really appreciates a heated bed especially in our drafty old house. However she also leaks in her sleep sometimes. This bed has been great for her. Bladder leaks are no problem. Just wipe with a soapy sponge and rinse clean. It dries in just a few minutes. When placed on good carpet and pad it provides enough cushioning (though not like a plush pillow bed). The operating instructions state not to put it on top or underneath of another bed or a thicker cover - as the heater might overheat and get damaged. I did remove the center cushion from her bolster bed and placed this there instead. Now she has both a heated sleeping surface and a nice draft cutting 3 sided bolster. This bed is also the only heated bed I found where the heating element runs though most of the bed. Other large beds only had a 12 or 14 inch long heating element in the center. (Posted on 11/7/11)

Helpful for my old girl's comfort Review by Old Dog
Value Quality Price Quality Price Value I have a medium Lectro-soft for my 16 yo, 40 lb pal and it has held up for 2 years now. The cover is a little cheap, but is removable and washable. The pad can be hosed down and dried, too. The wire-covered cord is good. My gal isn't destructive, so no chew problems. All-in-all has been well worth it and my baby deserves it. I'm getting another this year, ahead of time, just to be prepared if the other gives up the ghost. (Posted on 10/20/11)

Not durable Review by Gun Dog Man
Price Value Quality I bought two soft and one hard style. The soft beds didn't last a day and the dogs chewed them to little bits. They show a GSP lying on the bed, well I have all GSP's and they are not kind to the soft product. Hard mat is still going strong. (Posted on 1/5/11)
