   Our cats have enjoyed this sill for several years and the framework is still like new. The washable fleece cover needs replacing every so often (I make my own) and the original foam padding is finally on its last legs, so I'll buy something locally to cut to fit.
   
   Summer or Winter, our cats sack out on this thing every day. It does happen to be the thermo version, but we almost never plug it in as it's simply not necessary, even here in Michigan. Between the solar and the cats' own BTUs, they're plenty comfortable without the help of electricity.

   All four cats love it. We've tried other brands, but this one is the best. The ortho cushion is great for our two older kitties, but the two younger ones love it two. It's easy to assemble, very sturdy, easy to clean, and looks nice in our home. Thanks for the great product! Tip: When the time comes, replace the foam pad with ortho matress foam that you can purchase at Wal-Mart, etc. It's much cheaper and just as great/effective. (Posted on 7/6/10)

   We have 3 - K&H Kitty Sills, 1 - Standard and 2 - Heated. Both of our cats love these things. During the winter they definelty prefer the heated over the standard. We usually will unplug them during the warmer months. The only complaint I have is the foam pad needs replaced on the one kitty sill that's only 2 years old. It gets used pretty hard.    I love this product! The legs take a bit of strength to pop in, but once they are in they stay in place. Even my dog can get up there and the Kitty Sill will not fall down, and he weighs about 50 lbs! Excellent product! (Posted on 1/19/09)

7. Product manufactured backwards - could not even put it up! Review by Eleanore

   The product is made backwards and cannot even be put up. The side with the screw holes is supposed to go on the windowsill (and has to be in order for the cover to go over it), but the legs only go on one way and they are backwards to how they need to be to brace the sill. Cannot believe we paid good money for this and it is USELESS. VERY DISAPPOINTED! (Posted on 1/4/09)
